The day started with a visit to the Hellfire Pass Museum. You may have seen the film "Bridge of the River Kwai". The Burma-Siam Railway was a Japanese project driven by the need for improved communications to support the large Japanese army in Burma. During the construction, approximately 13 000 prisoners of war and 100 000 died in the course of the project.
Two regularity tests today on very bumpy gravel. We did rather well and are able to maintain our overall 8th position and 3rd position in our class. The terrain reminded us of the tracks we have rallied on a lot in Morocco.
Tomorrow we move up north.
