Three test sections with the first regularity test today on yesterday bending roads. Traffic made it tricky to stick to the average time. Then one test on a very hilly road on the island of Pukhet. It got very hot in the afernoon. Relatively tricky navigation through rubber plantations got us to the last test of the day, another regularity test. Today is a rest a day. We will attend the Karmann Ghia with the mechanics this morning and then relax on the beach of the Adaman sea.
Many of you have followed us on the 2015 "Road to Mandalay" and on the 2012 “London to Cape Town” rallies. On June 12 we will start to drive 14 000 km on the "Peking to Paris" rally. The race will take us through Mongolia & Siberia driving through 11 countries until we reach Place Vendôme in Paris on July 17. We will try to post a short comment on our blog on most days with the exception of Mongolia where we will have no internet access.
