Two tests on the road of a thousand bends from Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son. The speed test on gravel was on difficult terrain (very bumpy). The second was a regularity test with one time control which turned into a speed test because it was impossible (for us) to reach the average speed. We are happy though with our results and have kept our placement 3rd in class and 8th overall.
We drove through woods with teak trees and are now near the Burmese border. On our way we have seen some outstanding examples of traditional Thai architecture.
